Documentation Sites: Recording incidents and abuses of asylum seekers and refugees
By On 11 June 2013
Well, it’s been a good month for documentation sites and projects. In addition to the nascent Refugee Rights Watch site, today has seen the launch of two related sites — the Detention Logs site, which documents over 7,600 incidents obtained from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship under the FOI Act, and Behind the Wire, which presents this information in a more interactive way.
If you haven’t already checked them out, you should. And if you would like to contribute to any of these projects, you can find out how to do so on their ‘About’ and/or ‘Contribute’ pages.
