Action for Human Rights in Tamil Eelam will be holding a documentary screening of No Fire Zone: The Killing Fields of Sri Lanka. No Fire Zone is a documentary that explores the the final offensive in a 26 year war in Sri Lanka. It follows the last 138 terrible days of this war. A call to action – No Fire Zone is a devastating expose of war crimes and crimes against humanity: the culmination of a three year investigation which has seen its director, Callum Macrae nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Over half of the population in Australian Detention Centres are Sri Lanka Tamils thus, it is an insightful film into what people are fleeing from and what Australia so often sends them back to, Join us for this documentary screening to gain an insight on what they have and continue to flee from.

The film will be followed by a Q & A with director, Callum Macrae.
