Seven people from several Australian cities were arrested by Northern Territory police for trying to make contact with refugees inside the Wickham Point Detention Centre outside Darwin.

Seven people have been arrested while climbing the hill overlooking the Wickham Point detention centre outside of Darwin. The protest is part of the national Easter Refugee Rights Convergence involving people from Darwin and around the country.
